Sri Swami Madhavanandaji

The Sri Swami Madhavananda Austria Hospital Project is dedicated to the memory of Hindu Dharmasamrat Paramhans Swami Madhavananda who founded several ashrams in Rajasthan and Gujarat. Today these spiritual and social centres are visited by thousands of disciples from India and abroad.
His Holiness was born in 1923 in Indian state of Rajasthan and he lived at his Master (Sri Mahaprabhuji’s side) for more than 20 years. Inspired by the grace and divine mercy of his Master, Paramhans Swami Madhavananda (known as Holy Guruji) helped people and inspired them in many ways. He worked actively for the wellbeing of the entire world through prayer and meditation. He also involved himself in social work and was committed to the preservation of the ethical values of Vedic culture and religion (Sanatana Dharma). He spread the message of Sri Mahaprabhuji and worked for the wellbeing of the entire world through prayer and meditation. His message was: “One in all and all in One.
On the 31st October 2003. Holy Guruji attained Mahasamadhi. He was laid to rest at Om Vishwa Deep Gurukul Swami Maheshwarananda Ashram. In recognition and remembrance of Holy Guruji our organisation decided to give the name „Sri Swami Madhavananda Austria Hospital“ to this major Hospital project in Jadan, India. The star-shaped form of the hospital symbolises love, compassion, mercy and healing energy. This symbol of the Anahat Chakra (the heart centre) will protect and guide all patients, volunteers and staff members of the hospital, helping them in the healing process.
These qualities are embodied in the life of Holy Guruji.
